I hardly EVER blog anymore- I have been putting everything on facebook! But for this shoot, I need to clog up every internet outlet I have. These two are adorable and were up for anything, and so was their chihuahua Romeo! Thank you Lisa and Steve for such a beautiful afternoon!

Mosquitos in the air

I did another “golden hour” practice session with my sister and her friends. I think I’m getting the hang of it! The light in these pics is almost as pretty as the models It was another buggy buggy day and we were swatting off mosquitos the whole time. You can actually see them in the air, they look kind of pretty in the photos.. ironic!

5 Days Old

I got a chance to photograph my Sleepiest Baby Yet! I’d like to give a big THANK YOU to my friend Evon for allowing me to photograph her gorgeous little Audriana, and for restoring my confidence in photographing newborns I have done this about 10 times now- and I seem to have the worst luck! Newborns supposedly sleep non stop all day, and yet I seem to make them so angry they stay awake and fussy for the entire 3 hour shoot lol! Well not this time! Audriana stayed asleep pretty much the whole time.. and we got some really pretty pics of her Hope you love them Evon and Dan!

Ticks In The Grass

Yep, all three of us were swatting off ticks during this shoot. I got home and felt something on my arm, and swatted a GIANT tick onto the floor. THANK GOD it hadn’t latched on yet. eeeek!!! But it was sooooo worth it for all of the amazing photos we got. We trecked out to this crazy castle… pretended not to see the “private property signs” and photographed until the sun started to go down My sisters should be models. I tell them all the time- maybe now they’ll listen to me
